Decades of Industry Mastery, Digitized for Tomorrow Meet the visionary leadership driving the digital transformation of lubricant supply chains across the region. elubes.ae was founded by Asif Rashid, Founder and CEO of Saham Petrolube FZ-LLC (UAE), Saham International PVT LTD (Pakistan), and the elubes digital ecosystem (elubes.ae, elubes.shop, and elube.ae). With an illustrious career spanning over four decades in the global energy and lubricant sectors, Asif started his journey in Oman in 1980. Over the years, he held pivotal leadership positions at global energy majors including Esso Lubricants, Gulf Oil, and Fuchs Oil. During his distinguished tenure as Chief Operating Officer at Fuchs Oil Middle East—where he served until 2014—he spearheaded regional expansion, establishing 20 international distributors and 5 blending plants across the Middle East and Africa.
Building on this solid foundation, Asif founded Saham International, achieving notable milestones such as the regional establishment and re-launch of Duckhams Oil Middle East—managing complete company setup, brand revival, product packaging development, and distribution network design. Today, Asif is leveraging over 40 years of hands-on technical expertise, manufacturer relationships, and market insights to build elubes.ae into the region's ultimate digital lubricant hub.
